Frequently Asked Questions

The core difference in their manufacturing is that solid rigid PVC is extruded as a dense solid, think of it like a solid block of plastic. Foamed PVC board is extruded with a foaming agent to create a closed-cell, cellular core structure. It can be 50-70% lighter than solid PVC of the same size, making it much easier to handle and install.

You can choice cutting, drilling, bending, thermoforming, bonding, joining and others processing methods to process PVC Celuka foam board. Almost all processing methods that can be done on wood can also be done on PVC Celuka foam board.

Cutting - Avoid dull tools (causes chipping or melting.)

Bending & Thermoforming - Heat to 120-140°C (248-284°F) (overheating causes bubbles or warping.)

Adhesive - Aviod use epoxy on stress points (brittle over time.)

Printing - Use PVC-compatible primers for paints.

PVC foam board has fire class B1 and a maximum operating temperature of up to 60 degrees Celsius.

Panel Surface: smooth and flat, no obvious mechanical texture, no color difference on the surface, no stain on the surface, no obvious pits, no needle holes, no thick holes, no cracks.

Side edge: smooth incision, fine pores, no needle holes, no thick holes, no terrible powder loss, no bee holes.

Thickness measurement: when the caliper is placed on the surface, the contact is close and seamless. The thickness of the left and right sides is even.

Weight algorithm: weight (g) = length x width x thickness (cm) x density,

Density algorithm: density = weight (g)/length x width x thickness (cm).

The standard size of PVC Celuka foam board is 2,440 x 1,220mm, 3,050 x 1,560mm and 3,050 x 2,050mm. The thickness range is 2-30mm, and the density range is 0.35-0.9g/cm.

The best thickness depends on your application.

1-3mm -- Best for lightweight, flexible, and detailed work, like indoor display boards and exhibition graphics.

4-5mm -- Best for rigid yet lightweight structures, like retail POS stands and trade show panel.

6-8mm -- With better impact resistance for make outdoor sign, workbenches, retail shelves.

MOQ is about 200PCS. If we have stock and you do not require customized products, the MOQ can be less.

The payment term is 30% T/T in advance and the balance 70% T/T before delivery. LC at sight also can be accepted.

Delivery

For standard items, our general production lead time is approximately 20-25 working days after we receive your confirmed order and deposit.

We can support PE bags, cartons or pallet packaging. We will adjust the package solutions to meet the container loading plan and our customer’s requests.
